Technical Improvements (Again!)
Crash rates and loading times continue to be reduced! We have improved internal focus on these matters to make Angry Birds 2 as snappy and stable as it should be in 2025. We’ve really enjoyed seeing your positive comments on this.
While we can’t show exact numbers, we do want to (as transparently as possible) show you what looks like:
DAU stands for Daily Active User.
As previously mentioned, Support tickets also continue to decrease, and we can internally understand that this is connected to the above!
And lastly, we’re happy to say that all these improvements, including internal focus, have led to Update 5.0.0 being a very stable release! Some issues are still persisting, but we’re aware of those and are actively working on resolving them. Thank you for reporting these to us and staying vigilant♥️

What happened to 3-day and 5-day Clan Streak events?
We’re currently running 1-day Clan Streak events in order to keep them more closely aligned with the daily quests in Treasure Pass. This prevents players from having to replay the same Clan Streak event just to complete the quest. We really appreciate all of your feedback on this, and we’re aware that some of you are hoping to see the longer events return soon. We haven’t made any permanent decisions one way or the other just yet, but we’re continuing to monitor this situation in order to find the perfect balance for as many players as possible.
Why are some of us seeing different rooms in CVC? Can this be prevented in future?
Currently, there is a technical limitation in the game where a new app version can cause some users to see different rooms in the same Clan Battle. We are currently looking into solutions to this that would ensure players on newly released versions always get the same rooms, but this is not an easy problem to solve from a technical standpoint.
We’re very aware of the frustration this can cause, and we are doing everything we can to schedule our releases and events to ensure minimal impact.
In recent months, this issue has been more apparent while we’ve moved to a slower rollout for new releases. This process has been put in place to ensure our releases are of the highest technical quality possible.
We’ve loved seeing the positive feedback from so many of you with regards to the performance improvements we’ve been making, and we remain committed to ensuring that each release meets an extremely high standard for technical performance, while balancing the need to push updates in as short a timespan as possible to avoid interfering with events.
Will we see more full-length Hat Event re-runs?
Yes! We will continue to run full-length Throwback Events in the coming months.
When collecting your feedback over the past few Flock Forwards, we heard that many of you wanted to see more Throwback Events to complete your Hat Sets. During our tenth anniversary month, we sprinkled in a couple of additional Throwbacks that were shorter and more targeted at completing your incomplete sets.
We are always looking to increase participation and engagement of Angry Birds 2 by trying out new things in the event calendar. We will continue to listen to your feedback and try new things! As always, we’d love to hear about what you’d like to see next.
