Flock Forward 02: Flinging Ahead
Hi Flockers,
Welcome back to the latest edition of Flock Forward! We’re thrilled to bring you new updates and insights into what’s coming next in Angry Birds 2. In this edition, we’re focused on shaping the game to be better for both long-time players and newcomers alike. We’ll be talking about exciting new events like Feather Quest, and so much more.
But before we dive in, hold your piggies tight! If you missed the first edition of Flock Forward, be sure to catch up on all the action. You can visit our Flock Forward page to see previous blog posts, watch related videos, and explore our new Flock Feedback Form!
Let’s flock forward together and fling ahead!
What’s Changing and What’s on the Horizon?
A couple of weeks ago, we sat down with two of our most well-known Angry Birds Content Creators to discuss the exciting future of Angry Birds 2. We covered everything from how the game is evolving to better serve both veteran players and newcomers, to what’s next on the horizon.
Join our Community Managers, Desirée and Lukas, alongside Content Creators Steveyneo and BlueJimmie, Game Lead David, Live Ops Producer Adam, and Game Designer Alex, as they take a deep dive into the upcoming changes and exciting features in store for Angry Birds 2. We’re also discussing how the new Feather Quest event was created!
In our first Flock Forward, we shared how we’ve been addressing the technical issues that have been affecting your experience. Now, we’re excited to report that those efforts are paying off! Over the past few months, we’ve seen a significant reduction in bugs and technical issues.
As we continue to improve game stability, our priority now lies in refining core features such as Clans for late-game players and reimagining early-game content. Whether you’ve been flinging birds for years or are just getting started, we’re committed to making Angry Birds 2 as fun and engaging as ever.
Climb to Win in Feather Quest
We’ve recently introduced Feather Quest, a new and thrilling event where you climb a castle filled with challenges. Choose one bird, enhance its ability, complete levels, collect feathers, and climb as high as you can – but be careful! Failing a level will cause you to lose your collected feathers. Learn more about Feather Quest here.

We’re thrilled that this event has been well-received by the community. We’re already working on a few tweaks to make future iterations even more engaging. Stay tuned for upcoming changes!
Community Hat Set and Angry Birds 2’s 9th Anniversary
As part of our 9th anniversary celebration for Angry Birds 2, we invited the community to design a brand-new hat set, and we were blown away by your creativity! This year’s Fan-omenon hat set brought in more submissions than ever, and the final designs were some of the best we’ve ever seen. Check out the Fan-omenon Hat Set here.
Thank you to everyone who contributed – we can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with next!
Silver’s New Ability – A Witty Adventure
Silver has always been one of the most beloved birds in the flock, but not all birds are created equally. To encourage more players to choose Silver when selecting their flock, we’ve upgraded her ability, and now she’s better than ever!
With her new power, Silver uses her sharp wit and agility to outmaneuver enemies, delivering powerful ground slams like no other bird in the flock. If you’re curious about how Silver unlocked her true power, be sure to check out her story and watch the video to see her and her newfound power in action!
Hats Galore with the Hat Chest Event

We also released another new time-limited feature, the Hat Chest Event, which allows players to open chests and collect a variety of hats. Learn more about the Hat Chest Event here.
While this event had its exciting moments, it didn’t fully meet our expectations, so we’ve decided to pause it for now. But don’t worry – we’re working on improvements and may bring it back in the future!

Treasure Pass 2.0
After the initial release of Treasure Pass, we worked hard to stabilize the feature, make it significantly easier to complete, and improve the rewards to make them feel more fulfilling.

With this foundation in place, we’ve continued working on more significant improvements to Treasure Pass over the past few months to better meet your expectations:
- Faster loading times when entering Treasure Pass
- Reduction from 40 to 30 milestones
- 60 Gems per day when completing all Daily Quests
- Passive powers, like a longer trajectory line
- Introduction of Seasonal Treasure, allowing you to collect rewards after reaching Milestone 30
We’re quite happy with how Treasure Pass has evolved and how it’s been received by our players. But we’re not stopping here, like always we’ll continue fine-tuning Treasure Pass!
Flock Feedback Form
We’re always eager to hear from our players! To make it easier for you to share your thoughts and report your experiences directly to the team, we’ve launched a new Flock Feedback Form. While this doesn’t replace our Player Support channels, it’s a great way for you to let us know how you feel about the current state of Angry Birds 2. If you encounter any technical issues or account-related problems, please continue to contact Player Support.
This form allows you to regularly share your thoughts with us and help shape the future of the game. While you can submit feedback as often as you like, only your most recent submission will be taken into account for future improvements.
And that wraps up the second edition of Flock Forward! We hope we’ve shown you how much progress we’ve made in improving the game at its core over the past few months. Make sure to join our Discord Server and follow us on Facebook so you don’t miss out on anything! Stay tuned for more news and the next update from our end.
Soar high, Flockers!
