Angry Birds 2 Update 3.22.1 Ongoing Issues
Hello Flockers, to be fully transparent, we want to give you an update on the game’s current ongoing and known issues. A full and expansive list of the currently known issues can be found here
Let’s focus on the most pressing issues!
Daily Challenges & King Pig Panic
In some cases, especially with a slower internet connection, the User Interface can overlap, causing a freeze. Thanks to your help, we have already identified the issue, but it will require an update to the app. We are currently working on a solution, and we will let you know when a hotfix becomes available.
Birds & Crashes in Levels
In version 3.22, we added new terrain to diversify levels further. However, this has caused some unpredictable side effects where some levels with the new terrain might crash. Additionally, some birds and their abilities stopped working as intended. We have already made some changes to minimize the possibility of encountering faulty terrain in levels by manually adjusting thousands of levels. While this required a lot of hard work from the team to ensure a better experience for you, it can still happen occasionally.
We also noticed that some birds, like Terence, were no longer functioning correctly. While we were able to fix most of the birds, Bubbles is unfortunately still not functioning correctly when using his ability near or inside a flower. The team is aware of this and working on resolving the issue.
Arena Season 31
Instead of starting Arena Season 31, the game unexpectedly and unintentionally jumped to Season 63. This caused players to be demoted further than they should have been, which was in no way deliberate and should not have happened.
Earlier today we performed maintenance on Arena and reset it back to the end of Season 30. Once you log in and open Arena, you will be prompted with the correct Season 31 and the correct weekly and seasonal rewards.
Please note that in some rare cases, if you have increased your rank shortly before the end of the season, you might not get the correct rewards. In this case we please kindly ask you to contact our Player Support Team from within the game.
While this does not cover all ongoing issues, please be assured, we’re working on finding solutions for the problems you are reporting to us. We know these issues, especially when recurring can be immensely frustrating, which is why we will continue reviewing our processes to provide you with a better experience.
