Space Art Contest

This campaign is being organized by Rovio Entertainment Ltd, with an address at Keilaranta 7, 02150 Espoo, Finland (“Rovio”, “we”). By participating in the campaign, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these campaign rules as well as our social media code of conduct (“Rules”).

This campaign is not connected to or sponsored by any social media platform operator (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, or Discord). However, in addition to these Rules, you also commit to following the terms and conditions of the relevant social media platform when participating in this campaign.

Campaign Period

The campaign will start on October 24, 2025 at 11AM GMT and end on November 5, 2025 at 12AM GMT. The winners will be selected on November 6.

Selecting Winner(s) and Communication

Winner(s) will be selected from eligible entries by Rovio’s jury. Your odds of winning will depend on the originality of your work submitted during the Campaign period.

We will announce the winner(s) on Discord and contact them through a private message, where possible.

If we have reason to suspect a fraudulent entry or other breach of these Rules by a participant (e.g. entries made by automated or otherwise deceptive means), we reserve the right to reject such fraudulent participation. If we are unable to contact a winner within 3 days, we reserve the right to choose a new winner.

Prizes and the Number of Winners

5 winners to receive the following:

  • 1st place: 1 Space Hat of their choice + 3000 Gems ($130 USD approximate value)
  • 2nd place: 1 Space Hat of their choice + 1000 Gems ($110 USD approximate value)
  • 3rd place: 1 Space Hat of their choice + 500 Gems ($105 USD approximate value)
  • 4th & 5th place: 1 Space Hat ($100 USD approximate value)

If you already own all the hats, you will receive an extra 500 Gems instead–on top of your base prize.

Please note that you need to have downloaded Angry Birds 2 (iOS, Android) in order to redeem and use any in-game prizes.

Prizes are personal and cannot be transferred to another or exchanged for money.

Who Can Participate

To be eligible to participate, you need to be at least 18 years old and have downloaded Angry Birds 2. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited.

How to Participate

The contest will be live on our Discord server. You can participate by submitting your original artwork on the server channel #ab2-space-art-contest-🚀. Your artwork should adhere to the following prompt:

“Which bird do you think would be best suited for zero-gravity action? Show us how!”

All formats are accepted when submitted through the channel mentioned above (drawing, digital art, sketches, etc.). You may only submit one entry. Your artwork must be unique and created by you. Your entry must be made during the Campaign Period as stated above.

Your Warranties Regarding Campaign Material

By entering the campaign, you warrant that you have created the material you submit to participate in the campaign (“Campaign Material”). You understand and agree that you cannot submit Campaign Material created by others or which include the property of a third party (e.g. famous movie quotes or third party trademarks). You warrant and represent that you own all rights to your Campaign Material and that the Campaign Material does not infringe the law or the rights of third parties (including intellectual property rights and rights of publicity and privacy).

Our Use of Your Campaign Material, Likeness, and Personal Data

By participating in the Campaign and by posting the Campaign Material, you agree to give Rovio, without compensation, the right of use to your Campaign Material for Rovio’s marketing purposes. This right is sublicensable, transferable, perpetual, includes all media, and cannot later be revoked by you. 

Except where prohibited by law, you are also granting Rovio a sublicensable and transferable right to publish your name, and likeness (including your profile image) in any media in perpetuity for advertising, publicity, and operation/administration purposes. Rovio may further process your personal data to execute the campaign and to award the prizes. For further information on processing personal data, see our privacy notice

When submitting an entry, participants consent to Rovio creating credited content out of their entry as per the Fan Content Policy

Limitation of Liability

Rovio and its partners are not liable for any damage, loss or injury caused or claimed to have been caused by any participant taking part in this campaign. Rovio’s total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the prizes. 

Disputes

Unless otherwise provided in mandatory legislation, all disputes between you and Rovio shall be governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against Rovio must be finally resolved by a court located in Espoo, Finland.

Changes to the Campaign

We may need to make changes to the campaign (e.g. to ensure regulatory compliance), which is why we reserve the right to change these Rules when needed. If we make changes to the campaign, its prizes, dates, availability or other significant aspects of it, we will announce these changes through the campaign marketing channels.
