Angry Birds 2 May ’26 Update
Now Live!
The latest Angry Birds 2 update is now rolling out! The May ‘26 Update includes some background updates to our game engine, along with some more performance improvements and bug fixes!
We identified some minor stability issues since the April ‘26 Update, so this update is more focused on maximising stability and performance ahead of some great content we have planned.
The May ‘26 Update (version 10.0.0) will become available to you in the next few days. While updating to this version isn’t mandatory yet, we highly recommend it to enjoy these improvements.
Update Notes
- Increased Stability
- Some scenarios resulted in the game crashing or locking after the April update; these have been fixed.
- iOS Ad Experience
- Added an ‘X’ button to ads served on the iOS version of AB2 for a better user experience.
- Engine Updates
- Updated and optimized the underlying Unity engine for performance improvements.
- Improved Asset Handling (e.g. images)
- Added improvements to the way the game loads some assets to boost performance.
- Other Improvements
- We have also included plenty of bug fixes and a number of under-the-hood improvements to prepare the game for some upcoming features.
