Unravel the mysteries and craft headgear for your beloved birds inspired by this year’s supernatural theme, “Fan-omenon”. Envision hats that echo tales of ancient aliens, a time-traveling Sasquatch, fallen angels, or even a hidden society of Were-Piggies. The truth is out there, Flockers, and the moment has come to expose the eeriest secrets in Angry Birds 2.
Prepare your night vision goggles, hire an old van, and don your fake FBI badges to delve into the unknown. It’s time to ask, “Birdi-birdi-do, where are you?”

Join the contest by submitting your original hat design inspired by the “Fan-omenon” theme through the Angry Birds 2 9th Anniversary Community Hat Set Contest page.
The following birds will receive their fan-omenal eery attire:
- Red
- Bomb
- Blues
- Terence
- Matilda
- Stella
- Leonard
- Melody
All forms of creativity are welcome, from drawings and digital art to sketches. Submit as many unique designs as you’ve crafted; just ensure each is your original work. Mark your calendars – submissions are open from April 11, 2024, at 00:00 UTC to May 2, 2024, at 00:00 UTC.
Submissions that do not comply with the contest rules will not be considered. It’s crucial that all designs follow the “Fan-omenon” theme and are creative and originally created by you. Content that infringes on copyright, lacks originality, or is inappropriate will be disqualified. Players who steal designs from others will not only be immediately disqualified from this and future contests; their game account may also be suspended.

While submissions must be made through the form, we also encourage you to showcase your entries in our Discord Forum or with the hashtags #AngryBirds2 #9thAnniversary on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
Rally your fellow Flockers to support your design and get the community excited about your creative vision! Just make sure to submit your entry through the form before posting it on social media or Discord to avoid someone stealing your design.
The Team & Community will Decide!
After the submission period, the Angry Birds 2 Team will select 16 semifinalists – two for each bird – based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and visual appeal. From May 8, 2024, it’s up to the community to decide the winners. Vote for your favorites among the semifinalists on the official Rovio Discord Server. To participate in the voting, ensure you have a Discord account and are a member of our official server.

*Due to shipping restrictions, only participants from certain countries are eligible to receive the Merchandise Pack when winning. In case we are not able to ship the products to you, you will instead receive additional in-game rewards in the corresponding value of the Merchandise Pack. You may also freely choose to receive the in-game items even if shipping is available.
Semifinalists will be contacted for more details through email and Piggy Mail in Angry Birds 2. The final announcement of the winners will be made by May 31, 2024.
