An Update on Sticker Albums: Economy Balancing & Changes Based on Your Feedback

Over the past few days, we’ve been closely monitoring your feedback on the new Sticker Album event. We’d like to provide updates on immediate adjustments we’ve already made based on your Sticker Album feedback, and provide visibility into what’s coming next!

What Changed from Beta Test to Global Launch

Not all feedback will be acted upon, but the team did, and is, closely monitoring your feedback and considering possible changes. We recognize that while we monitored your feedback, we didn’t clearly communicate the steps we took in response.

One major change we implemented ahead of the global launch was updating the Rewards for Sparks Shop so players can exchange Sparks for permanent progression materials alongside cards:

• Slot 1 (100 Sparks): Grants an Uncommon Pack + 200 Black Pearls.
• Slot 2 (200 Sparks): Grants a Rare Pack + 5,000 Shade Feathers
• Slot 3 (400 Sparks): Grants a Legendary Pack + 15,000 Shade Feathers

Note: Due to client update timing, the in-game shop currently displays older placeholder art showing only the sticker packs, but these permanent currencies are already being delivered in the background. Updated visuals will roll out in the next client patch. Here’s a short video of opening a 200-Spark pack so you can see exactly how the rewards drop!

To clarify, your Sparks remain valid during the whole event duration (56 days), meaning you can safely save them and use them in the Rewards for Sparks Shop before the season ends.

Event Coins & Treasure Chest Odds

We understand that the sticker packs appearing in Treasure Chests have been a point of discussion and frustration!

• Drop Adjustment: We just pushed an update to the drop rates on sticker packs in the Treasure Chests. Sticker packs went from 50% down to a 30% probability (20% Common Packs/10% Uncommon Packs). This leaves a 70% chance of receiving other rewards, including Event Coins during a Hat Set Event.

Black Pearls Arena Streak

We recognize that the recent changes to the Arena streak removed a daily source of Black Pearls that many of you rely on for hat-tier progression.

To offset this, we are replacing the middle-tier Premium Treasure slot rewards inside the Sticker Set Rewards with Black Pearls. Completing your sets will now grant substantial, permanent Black Pearl payouts directly to your flock.

Bright Screen Flashes

We’re aware of the feedback on some animations being too bright. We are working to adjust this as soon as possible!

Season Pacing & Obtaining Stickers

We’ve noted feedback from players stating they feel the album feels difficult to complete in time, or that the event is very “grindy”. We understand that sentiment, but want to gently remind you that the event is 56 days long for that reason! Of course, we always look at event performance data and adjust as needed based on your feedback and the data.

However, Sticker Album has only been out for a few days, so we kindly ask for some patience and for further exploration of how the event feels to play throughout its full 56-day duration!
