Angry Birds Friends lights up the night for Diwali!
The rapidly approaching winter is making the days shorter, but the Angry Birds are ready to light up the night in a new Diwali themed tournament in Angry Birds Friends.
For those not familiar, Diwali is a five-day “festival of lights” celebrated primarily in India. During Diwali homes are cleaned, adorned in colorful decorations, and illuminated with oil lamps and lights. Fireworks pop off nonstop, gifts are exchanged, sweets are consumed. In other words, it’s a party!
The festival symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and birds over pigs, and whether or not that last part is completely made up, those are all things that surely many of you can get behind.
The Angry Birds are getting in on the Diwali celebration in the best way they know how, by popping pigs of course. Angry Birds Friends has cleaned house and set the stage for a week-long Festival of Lights event featuring 3 tournaments, and 20 new levels bursting with luminous lanterns and lamps, radiant rangoli, and fiery fireworks.
Join the celebration and give darkness a run for its money in the Festival of Lights tournaments, now until November 8!
